Hess Roise conducts research on a wide array of subjects for a diverse spectrum of clients. We analyzed nineteenth-century surveyors’ records for an American Indian lawsuit and tracked down comic strips for a major motion picture studio. We organized a collection of advertising materials for a corporation and helped an agency hire an archivist. When out-of-state scholars want information from local archives―but don’t want to travel to Minnesota―they hire us to do the research.
