Two Hess, Roise and Company Projects received 2026 Minneapolis Preservation Awards! The Hall Lofts combined adaptive reuse of two North Loop buildings with a new construction component to create a 358-unit development, while the Hennepin County Sumner Library project refurbished a beloved 1915 Carnegie library in North Minneapolis, adding updated technology and sustainable design features.

Hess, Roise and Company helped Calvary Lutheran Church become the Belfry Apartments, providing affordable housing units and allowing the nearly century-old congregation to continue serving this South Minneapolis community.

The Landmark Tower in Saint Paul traded unused office space for 187 new apartments in the heart of downtown using historic tax credits.
